Play Magic: The Gathering Online Free
Free, browser-based, multiplayer. Every card is available — no grinding, no microtransactions, no paywall.
How does free Magic: The Gathering online work in TCG Playsim?
TCG Playsim is a manual playtester — you build a deck, you join a room, and you play just like you would at a kitchen table. The difference vs. paper Magic: every card from Scryfall's database is available immediately. The difference vs. MTG Arena: there's no grind, no economy, no card unlocks. The difference vs. MTGO: it runs in your browser with no download or paid subscription. You and your opponent (or up to three opponents in a 4-player game) take turns moving cards between zones. The app handles the bookkeeping — life totals, the stack, mana pool, counters, tokens, copies — but the rules are resolved by the players, the same way they would be at a table. This makes TCG Playsim ideal for casual play, brewing, format testing, and any non-standard format the official clients don't support.
